At Seva we offer classes of various styles and levels to people from all walks of life. Our class type is always tailored to the student’s current level of practice, personal abilities and goals. While classes vary from client to client our style of teaching is Hatha Yoga. We modify our lessons to either a slow and restorative or a dynamic movement sequence. There is a special focus in integrating postural alignment, conscious breathing and mental focus. The practice is Eastern in style however all our sequences are modified to suit you.

We help you cultivate higher body-mind awareness, acceptance and the power of acting from a place of kindness, peace and compassion. We introduce you to physical movements and breathing techniques aimed at purifying and maintaining optimum health and wellbeing. With more focus on your needs and goals we tailor the practice to help you learn this art of energising, relaxing and rejuvenating both the body and the mind.

Our success comes from making you feel a BRIGHTER, LIGHTER and BALANCED you.

Come to your class with an EMPTY stomach - if you must eat something, make it light. Save your big meal for later. Wear comfortable stretchy clothing such as tracksuit pants, leggings, T shirt, singlet, etc. Let the teacher know if you have any new injuries, headache, menstruating, etc.

Try to practise yoga WITHIN your own limitations. Yoga is non competitive (even with yourself!). Use your breath as a guide - if your breath is steady and smooth, your practice is right if you are holding your breath, or it is "bumpy", you are going too far.

What was your highlight at yoga this year: "My highlight of 2016 was the ongoing development I received, physically, mentally and spiritually. The one on one yoga therapy session was very helpful and allowed me to see another side of yoga teachings." - Carl Pinto
